Beyond the constraints of sequence or fragment, these images inhabit their own enclosed cycles, exhausted upon the surface of the print. In this section, the image operates as an atom: a fundamental unit encompassing its own genesis.

Upon becoming public, the work divests itself of the author to find its constitution within the viewer's subjectivity. The image abdicates its original intent to integrate the history and lived experiences of those who encounter it.

The cycle completes itself in the hiatus where the photographer's gaze ends and the life of the image begins. No projection: within PHOTOGRAPHS, the work simply is.
